Our Team
Our team leads from the heart; holding space which is de-stigmatized, person-centred, and evidence-based in nature. Our approaches are built on a foundation of lived and professional experiences. Our clients know that we are right there with them, and that our empathy does not contradict our education; rather, it bolsters it. Our team offers holistic approaches that bridge the four pillars of health: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual, and, are all Master's level educated in our respective fields and areas of expertise. We work together with shared clients, and behind the scenes, to offer the most collaborative care possible, which is ND-affirming, trauma-informed, and welcoming to all members of the LGBTQ+ community.
Amber Whittemore
Registered Dietitian and Nutrition Counsellor
Founder of The Nourished Co.
Amber (she/they) founded The Nourished Co. (originally Nourish to Flourish) in 2020 because she is deeply passionate about providing accessible, approachable, and de-stigmatized mental health and eating disorder support - a life purpose that was born from her own previous struggle with an eating disorder, as well as her lived experience with neurodiversity (ADHD, ASD) and mental "illness". Her counselling and coaching are rooted in weight-neutral/body-positive, intuitive/mindful eating and non-pathologized approaches that put the person first. In the spirit of helping her clients heal and step into a place of more radical self-acceptance, Amber has the goal of insighting deeper levels of self-compassion, self-awareness, and embodiment or empowerment in their lives.
Beginning her professional dietetic career began in 2020, Amber began working as a clinical dietitian at the Kelowna General Hospital in British Columbia, the site of her dietetic residency, where she gained experience with a variety of acute and chronic illnesses, gastroenterology, psychiatric and intensive care. Amber has also previously worked as a community and private dietitian at an intensive multidisciplinary clinic, Healthy Essentials Clinic, where she gained invaluable experience in the field of eating disorders, nutrition counselling, mental health, and program planning.
Amber synergistically bridges her training, expertise, and professional experience as an accredited healthcare professional with her lived experiences, post-graduate research, and training in the areas of mindfulness, self-compassion, leadership, and intuitive development. She is honoured each and every day to hold the space she does with and for clients, as well as to walk alongside them on their journeys, and she hopes to have the opportunity to connect soon!

Ally Goult
Registered Clinical Counsellor BCACC #18221
Ally is a Clinical Counsellor born and raised in West Vancouver, BC. Her original drive to pursue a masters of counselling stemmed from a history of CPTSD and disordered eating and exercise, which she has seen great healing of through her own therapy. This personal connection has fostered a deep sense of passion and pride for the work she does with her clients.
Ally firmly believes that our adult patterns are the direct result of painful or overwhelming experiences that we had as children. By making connections between the past and the present, we learn how to meaningfully change our lives. Inner child work is the foundation for her therapeutic model. She also specializes in somatic therapy, which is a core facet in how she helps her clients experience nervous system healing, something she believes is at the heart of all well-being and health. As a new mother with a specialization in attachment neuroscience, Ally is also uniquely capable of supporting pregnant and new mothers to navigate the complex chapter of early motherhood.
Ally has been in clinical practice for 5 years, having worked in private practice settings since 2020. Through work with hundreds of clients across various demographics, her clinical work bridges mind, body, and spiritual healing, to restore a sense of complete wholeness and peace to her clients.
