BIO

I was born and raised in Kelowna, BC, and am so happy to have landed back in the Okanagan after spending all my major years of post-graduate schooling out of the Province! I love spending my time outside, no matter the season, so you can often find me exploring the mountains year-round or relaxing at the beach in the Summer. I have two dogs, a 7-year-old Aussidoodle named Benji and a 1-year-old Goldendoodle named Leo! Benji is an Emotional Support Animal and is often in sessions offering support. They are a handful at the best of times, but they bring so much joy and laughter to my life, so the mess and chaos are (mostly) always worth it!

Since a young age, I've been passionate about helping my community, which actually started out with me in vet school before finding my true calling in dietetics and mental health! I needed to take some time out of post-graduate schooling for my own health, which is when I changed the trajectory of my career path. Ultimately, my transition into this field was shaped by my lived experience with mental illness and neurodiversity, as well as my recovery from an eating disorder.

I am an open book and fully authentic with my clients and community when it comes to my lived experiences because I want everyone to know that we are ALL human beings with unique stories to tell. They are all valid and deserve to be heard. Yours too!
